The boring stuff: 43 years old, single, vegetarian, atheist . . .
Recent stuff: After returning to school to earn my Bachelor's in 2006, I graduated with a Psychology Degree and quickly discovered that finding a job was the most difficult part. Feeling half my age, I decided to take a year off and “find” myself, except instead of backpacking in Europe, I headed to Asia and got a job as an English Teacher in South Korea. Best decision of my life. That "year" is now expanding to two.
I’ve never been one for the norms. I’m not much for TV or pop culture, preferring to read something educational or express myself creatively instead. I love to draw and write, though neither are much more than hobbies, and recently I’ve taken to photography. It’s becoming a passion. Click here to see my Flickr Photostream.
I’m sort of solitary, finding time alone or with a good friend much more satisfying than mixing with a large group. Give me a sofa, my dog, a good flick, a close friend, and some snacks over a night at the club anytime.
I'm a raving skeptic, sometimes (rarely) cynic, and am vigorously curious. But wait, there's more. I love to laugh, seek interesting experiences, and thrive on MST3K. Also, I do some normal stuff: I like music, books, culture, people, art, food - just about anything. There is so much out there that goes unseen and unheard. I keep my eyes open and my ears tuned.
I hope you do the same.
