Metro Street

Went to The Daegu International Music Festival on Saturday with 수연 (Su Yun), 미령 (MeRyoung), and Amy (A new Korean teacher) to see the musical METRO STREET, a play about a young man facing tough choices about his career, his ailing mother, his obstinate grandmother, and his feminist girlfriend. All fairly predictable and "safe", meaning it didn't take many chances with the material, but some of the tunes were good. Overall, a fun evening with great food, an entertaining show, and lots of laughs with my friends.

Here is footage (taken by the Daegu staff) of parts of the show. This is the actual set and stage where we saw the performance.
