People who can out run fireballs! We see it in so many action movies and it makes no sense. The problem is not just that the fire would burn but all there is a super-heated push of air in front of the fire that would incinerate anything before the fire even got there. Silly.

Barking dogs - Why do the dogs always know who's bad but their owners don't? The "bad guy" comes into the stoopid unsuspecting woman's home and the dog barks at him. And the woman always says something like "I don't know what's gotten into him, he's always so calm and friendly." Duhhhhh!

Celebrities with drug addictions. I mean, come on, that's almost as unoriginal as a hero disabling a bomb with 1 second left before the explosion.

Planes that shoot at running heroes always have this gap between the bullets that the hero runns right in-between.

The "ugly" girl will always become "beautiful" and win the heart of the hero. The woman who starts the movie as "beautiful" will always be a b*tch.
